1. Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah

I adored reading Winter Garden a few years ago. All of Kristin Hannah’s books are a hit for me, but this one — boy oh boy did it make me cry. Read if your fave KH book is The Nightingale!

2. Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham

Stacy Willingham is an AUTOBUY author for me. Love her creepy little southern thrillers SO MUCH!

3. Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

Speaking of thriller writers who can do no wrong…. Alice Feeney. I’ve read and loved every single one of her books that I’ve read, but this one might be my fave. Another one of her books, HIS & HERS is also on KU!

4. Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

Grab the tissues because THE best, THE OG Greek Mythology retelling is on KU. If you haven’t picked this one up — what’s it like not being heavily influenced by Booktok? PICK IT UP NOW!!

I adored this coming of age (sort of historical fiction) book SO MUCH.

One of my favorite memoirs of all time.

Get ready to have whiplash for how twisty and turny this OG domestic thriller gets!

9. We Begin at the End by Chris Whitaker

OH MY GOSH this was one of my faves from 2021. I ADORED IT! Read it NOW.

Here’s a historical fiction on KU I’d recommend! WWII era and a really strong female protagonist!

11. The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin

I absolutely sobbed through this beautiful story. I recommend it SO DANG HARD. Just know it’s a tear-jerker!

12. Ariadne by Jennifer Saint

I freaking love greek retellings, and, while this one isn’t my fave, it is available on KU and is worth the read!

13. Anatomy: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz

Suuuuch a fun little YA book that has: teen romance, grave robbing, ancient surgery, and more!

14. Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier

Whew, the missing kid trope is an anxious little ride, and Little Secrets surely was just that!

15. The School for Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan

OK so this one isn’t for everyone. It’s weird and bleak but seriously compelling!
