The review

A 1934 luxury cruise between New York and Cuba turns into the setting of an edge-of-your-seat mystery featuring heiress Catherine Dohan and the mysterious Elena Palacio.

I want to keep it vague so I don’t give anything away but oh my gosh this book was simply an unexpected delight. It’s been a minute since I’ve read a Chanel Cleeton and ugh I just love her writing. This one was full of all the things I love — mystery, steamy forbidden love story, and a Titanic-like setting.

I highly recommend this as a beach read — you’ll knock it out in one sitting and enjoy every second of it!
