Reckless Girls

Calling all season one fans of The White Lotus. If you were drawn into the Hawaiian vibes in the show, then look no further than Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins. These young and beautiful people don’t have as much money as the White Lotus guests, but they sure do make the same level of dumb decisions.

One Italian Summer

Book / Dress / Jacket / Shoes / Glasses / Bracelets

If season two’s Italian vibes are more your jam (ahem, same) then whip up an Aperol Spritz and tuck into One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle. There’s not a murder, but you’ll be swept away by the scenery and fall in love with the cute little hotel featured in the book.

The Lion’s Den

Book / Suit / Sarong / Sandals / Bag / Sunnies / Hat

No spoilers (!!) but there are some pretty idyllic yacht scenes in season two, and that is absolutely a vibe I can get behind. The Lion’s Den by Katherine St. John is a go-to rec for me for a summer thriller. There’s tons of money being thrown around and a delicious mystery that unravels in a very White Lotus way.

The Maid

Book / Dress / Bag / Shoes / Earrings / Notepad

If you’re done with wanderlusting but not quite done with the drama of a fancy hotel, pick up The Maid by Nita Prose next. It’s *quite* different from the show, but there is a murder at a hotel and we do get the behind the scenes look at it from a quirky maid who gets tangled up in it all. She’s also way more loveable than any of The White Lotus staff, imo.
