The review

🖤THE MARY SHELLEY CLUB by Goldy Moldavsky 🖤
Rachel survives what’s absolutely everyone’s worst nightmare, and she’s definitely not the same after. New city, new fancy private school, and a whole new set of friends. She also has a new hobby: horror movies. Lucky for Rachel, she finds a way into a super secret club that shares her love of fright. But is there someone who’s aware of the club who’s willing to take it too far?

I saved this one for spooky season. I’m glad I did because it’s seriously such a cool book to read on Halloweek BUT I honestly am mad at myself for waiting for so long. I absolutely adored every page of this book. Loved all the characters, including Rachel, loved the privileged private school setting, just all the yes.

Read if: you’re not afraid of a horror movie night with some friends and if you love a good teen melodrama a la John Tucker Must Die!
